She's an Oscar winner and he's James Bond, but actors Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig work hard to keep their four-year marriage private.
"He’s just too famous. It would be a betrayal. You have to protect your marriage," Weisz told the December-January issue of More magazine. "When you’re young, you tell your girlfriends everything. One of the great pleasures of not being an adolescent is that you don’t have to share everything. When you’re married, that door closes. The audience goes, and you’re in your own life."
Weisz and Craig were friends for years when romance sparked during the filming of their 2010 movie "Dream House." They kept their relationship under wraps until their surprise marriage in 2011.
"The Constant Gardener" actress, 45, did share a couple tidbits from her life with Craig, 47, and her 9-year-old son from her former relationship with director Darren Aronofsky.
They live in New York City's East Village, where they frequent Japanese restaurants and Tompkins Square Park, where her son has played since birth. They also enjoy staying home.
"We cook a lot. Daniel is a great cook," Weisz said. "He doesn’t use recipes; he makes things up. He’s creative. He’s not scared. He goes for it."
