The virtual concert featured performances by Lady Gaga, The Rolling Stones, Taylor Swift & more.
The star-studded One World: Together at Home virtual concert special on Saturday helped raised $127.9 million for healthcare workers in their fight against the coronavirus pandemic, according to Global Citizen.
Organized by the World Health Organization and Global Citizen, in collaboration with Lady Gaga, the two-hour televised virtual concert featured performances by The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Lizzo, Keith Urban, Maluma, Jennifer Lopez and many more.
Global Citizen tweeted Sunday (April 19) that the One World concert had raised nearly $128 million in pledged donations, all from philanthropists and corporate partners, to the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization, powered by the UN Foundation. The televised benefit made a point not to solicit donations from viewers, instead acting as a celebration for those on the frontlines of this pandemic.
