SEOUL, South Korea - In death as in life, Kim Dae-jung(金大中) managed to bring the two rival(对手) Koreas together.
Hours before his funeral(葬礼) Sunday, North Korean officials dispatched to(被派往某地) Seoul to pay their respects to the Nobel Peace Prize winner(诺贝尔和平奖获得者,这里指金大中) held talks with South Korea's president — the first high-level inter-Korean contact after many months of tension(紧张).
They relayed(转达) a message about bilateral relations from North Korean leader Kim Jong Il during a half hour of "serious and amicable(友好的)" talks with President Lee Myung-bak, Lee's spokesman said.
