All four cops charged over George Floyd’s death & ‘killer’ Derek Chauvin faces second-degree murder

All four cops have now been charged over the death of George Floyd with the officer who knelt on him for eight minutes set to face second-degree murder charges. Minnesota’s Attorney General will escalate charges against Derek Chauvin and charge the three other officers with aiding and abetting murder. If convicted of both charges, the officers face the same maximum sentence as Chauvin - up to 50 years in prison.
